Share Your Passion 2012

We were privileged to take part in another annual event where the students share a topic that is important to them.  The entire school population checked out the class displays.  The teachers observed that the presenters were mature and engaging to all ages of visitors.  We all learned something new.  CONGRATULATIONS ON A JOB WELL DONE!

Grade 7 Basketball Players Celebrate!

Our boys & girls basketball teams had a great time at the Basketball Tournament marking the end of this year's official Basketball season.  Good job!

Making Music With the Grade 8 Band

3RD Annual Grade 8 Artist Visit

On the last Friday of January, our class was privileged to have some visiting artists from the high school.  They taught a lesson on sketching, and shading.  It was great to see our past students come to volunteer at the school on their day off to share one of their passions, art.  Thank you ladies!  We had fun!

Field Trip to the Botanical Gardens

On Friday the class volunteered to team up with a wonderful group of adults (Lee-ann, Rosalind & Paddy) to clear some paths of "alien invaders" and make birdhouses for our fine-feathered friends. It was a great day, chilly and DRY!! Please enjoy the attached photos, letting you have a brief overview of our day.

Paddy sent a note to me and said, "Thank you so much for bringing your class - they really accomplished a lot, and we'd welcome them back!"  What a great compliment!!  Well done everyone!
